Many people are habituated to listen to some classical music before they go to bed. They say it helps them to have good sleep and at times they are unaware of the time they fall asleep while listening to they favourite song.
This is what is termed as music therapy.
Using music to get a desired result in the body.
Sound is a form of vibration and vibration has the potential to change our mood. For example, while listening to Rock music or Metal one feels very energetic. It’s because of the vibrations (sound/music) which are delivered to our brain that makes us feel energetic.
What tempo of beats is helpful for falling asleep?
In a research it was found that classical music with 60 beats per minute helps people fall asleep.
